Clock and Other Settings for Panasonic KX-TG Series Telephones

There is no user interface for the Panasonic KX-TG cordless phones to set the clock unless you download the pdf instructions found here, but here is the section on setting the date and time using the handset which is used to time-stamp messages and make the flashing clock indicator go away. There is evidently no way to set it from the base station

For other models KX-TG4031, KX-TG4032, KX-TG4033, KX-TG4034, KX-TG4731, KX-TG4732, KX-TG4733, KX-TG4734, KX-TG4771, KX-TG4772, KX-TG6642, KX-TG6643, KX-TG7732, KX-TG7733 see video at the bottom. The magic incantation is MENU # 101, then just enter the time.

Setting the unit before use

Date and time

Set the correct date and time. When you 

play back a message from the answering 

system (page 37), the unit announces the 

day and time it was recorded.

1.  {MENU} {4}

2 Enter the current month, day, and year 

by selecting 2 digits for each.

Example: August 15, 2006

{0}{8} {1}{5} {0}{6}

3 Enter the current hour and minute (12-

hour clock format) by selecting 2 digits 

for each.

Example: 9:30

{0}{9} {3}{0}

4 Press {AM/PM} to select “AM” or “PM”. 

i{Save}i{OFF}

Note:

LIf you make a mistake when entering the 

date and time, press {<}, {>}, {^}, or 

{V} to move the cursor, then make the 

correction.

Display language

The default setting is “English”.
1 {MENU}i{0}{8}
2 Select the desired setting.
3 Press the right soft key to save. i
{OFF}

Dialing mode

If you cannot make calls, change this
setting depending on your telephone line
service. The default setting is “Tone”.
“Tone”: For tone dial service.
“Pulse”: For rotary pulse dial service.
